The Sheet That Stays Cool All Night

Most people don't wake up because of noise. They wake up because they're too hot. Standard cotton traps heat and moisture against the skin — by the second half of the night the surface feels heavy and warm, and sleep gets shallower. The SESA Air Ice Cooling Sheet is designed for direct skin contact on warm nights. It's made from FORPE fibre by Kolon Industry, a Korean materials specialist, using an Air Tunnel structure that lets heat and moisture escape through the weave rather than building up underneath you. The cooling performance is measured by Q-max — an index of how much heat the fabric draws from the skin on contact. FORPE scores 0.409 on that scale. Cotton scores 0.18. In practical terms, manufacturer testing showed up to 7.8°C drop in skin surface temperature on contact, with the cooling sensation recovering after around three minutes. It comes in two sizes — 155x210 cm and 200x210 cm — in Ice Blue and Ice Grey. For Cyprus summers, when nights stay warm well past midnight, a sheet that actually performs differently is worth it.
