Lightweight Blankets for Warm Nights
A blanket in Cyprus is not the same as a blanket in northern Europe. You do not need insulation — you need something that covers without trapping heat, that sits lightly on the body, and that stays comfortable when the temperature drops slightly in the middle of the night. Both blankets in this collection are cooling blankets designed for exactly this. The Cooling Blanket Cooling Nights is made by NOXNOX from CoolFlow fabric — 88% nylon, 12% spandex — a lightweight construction that is cool to the touch and breathable across the whole surface. It is available in two sizes: 140x200 for a single or narrow bed, and 200x220 for a double. The Dreamhouse Cooling Blanket uses Bluecell technology, a breathable microfibre with active moisture management. Same concept, different fabric feel — the Dreamhouse is slightly softer and more matte in texture.
Both are light enough to use through most of the year in Cyprus. Neither has the weight or warmth you would associate with a winter duvet. They are made for the part of the year — which in Cyprus is most of it — when you want something over you but not weighing you down.
